For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you." (Jeremiah 29:11-12).

The chaos happening around the world does not define us.

The News of war, trouble and disaster are not what define us. We are from a different Kingdom where the thoughts of the King reigns supreme.

We are defined by what God thinks of us, all of which have been clearly stated in our anchor text.

Therefore, in the face of adverse circumstances, war or peace, we are to be reminded that the thought of God prevails over any other thing. So, we are to pray in the light of what God has in mind for us. When we do that, He hearkens, He hears, He answers!

Put that into practice as you go this week.

You are a believer daily.

CONFESSIONS

I choose to remember how God thinks of me.

I choose to remember that God has good thoughts towards me. Therefore, no evil shall come nigh my dwelling because God's thoughts towards me, bears no record of that.

PRAYER

I receive the Grace to pray, in the light of God's thoughts towards me.
