"Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee." (Hebrews 13:5)

No Believer wouldn't be tempted with the offers coming from outside God's fold. 

There would always be seemingly juicy offers from the world, but what would keep us is the understanding of contentment; that is, understanding the fact that God desires us to be content with what we have, based on the fact that He's promised not to leave us nor forsake us. 

Because God has given us His word, we are expected to live a life of contentment knowing full well that the one who has called us would never leave us uncatered for. 

So, as we go this week, let's lock this truth in our hearts. 

CONFESSION FOR THE WEEK. 

Through the understanding of the fact that God can never nor forsake me, I remain content with what I have. I refuse to chase after things that do not matter. So help me God. 

PRAYER 

I receive the Grace to be content as God demands.
