Luke 18:1  And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;

The two most important things required for the growth of a believer is word and prayer that is why the apostles in acts 6:4 says

  But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word.

Apostle Paul paid much attention to prayers because of it effects. 

James 5:16 says the prayer of a righteous is effective In it's working

one of the reason why prayer is so important in spiritual growth is because it's not impossible to know the word effectively and have it working in one's life without an effective prayer life you can read the word without a Prayer life, it will only look to you like letters and no understanding is coming upon you. We will discuss the effect of these in our next series spiritual growth and the balance 







Reasons why prayer is important part of spiritual growth

Prayer is a means of communication with God

 Prayer makes you stay sane and sensitive making you aware of God's presence

Prayers helps us not to fall into temptation

A man that prays always is conscious of the life of the spirit

Many people see prayer as different things which makes individual have different approach to prayers. What you see prayer as forms your attitude and composure when you do it. 

Jesus said men ought always to pray and not to faint

Prayer produces power 

prayer produces results

one of the way a believer can pray effectively also is by praying in the Holy Ghost (i.e praying in tongues).

 The bible says anyone who prays in an unknown tongue speaks directly unto God and in the Spirit he utters mysteries.

Prayer is sacred so take it as such in the journey of growing up spiritually most of the result produced in your life is the reflection of your attitude towards prayer

Prayer makes you effective in doing God's work

There is an end to which men pray every believer pray in order to be effective in all the things of God. 

Prayer makes you sound and accurate in operating spirituals.

 You can walk effectively and easily in spirituals when you have a life of prayer. 

You are always aware of the devil strategy. prayer helps to build capacity in the spirit

Prayer has a tone!!

Prayer is more of the heart than the energy anything we pray concerning, we are saying yes to it 

prayer is not negotiation with circumstances

Prayer is exercising dominion over the circumstance 

prayer that brings power is not with negotiation prayer is lording

Prayer approaches circumstances with certainty 

The proof that a man prays Is Not The Voice and the energy it is the result and power produced

100% of certainty & assurance + No presence of doubt = PRAYER

With the tone of prayer, we give commands to circumstances

Prayer is not an alternative, it is not the second option, it is the first because there is assurance that it will produce result and not just result tangible and wonderful results.
