WEEKLY CHARGE

 

"But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:" (1st Peter2:9)

By the grace of redemption, we were translated from the Kingdom of darkness into light. Through the blood of Christ we were made holy and free from the guilt of sins. 

This would mean we are priceless and we remain an extremely expensive breed that cannot be compared to anything. It is for this reason that we are expected to live for the one who got us ransomed.

We are expected to "show forth the praises of him who hath called us out of darkness into marvellous light." The only way to do this is by making our lives worthwhile for him everyday.

Heavenly Father help me to come into the knowledge that you have chosen me, help me to understand that I'm no longer in darkness, I am In the light.
