Building a consistent prayer life

As we begin to interact with God, primarily in the place of prayer, that is when you will know God.

 The first step in establishing a Prayer life, is by carving out specific time for God everyday. If you do not have a specific time, you will never have a Prayer life. If your will has not chosen a time that you will be dedicated to, the devil will manipulate your life and you will never have a Prayer life.

 Most of the times we pray spontaneously, maybe when you find yourself in the bus.... Before you begin to enjoy God, you must establish a discipline of giving a portion of your day to him and you will maintain that as a lifestyle, either convenient or not convenient. 

Don't just wait for the Holy Spirit to move you before you pray. If we keep time with God, we will discover that, God can be anything we need for the fulfillment of our divine purpose and for the manifestation of godliness upon the face of the Earth. 

In my Christian life, I struggle more than the average Christian to gain mastery in my prayer life and I have been a Bible teacher for a long time. So I was wondering why I was struggling because even in my prayerlessness, if I take the Bible to preach.... hahaha.... people say "my God this is wonderful" but I know there is a problem. So I began to study the Bible in view of finding solution to my prayerlessness, I will pray a little and then go back to the word of God. I started reading the Book of Psalms when I saw that David was a man of prayer in view to find an answer to prayer. 

The more you begin to press in God, find security in God and the more you trust God, You will come to a point where the prayers you pray for yourself begin to reduce. 

At some point in my life, I did not have enough money. So every time I went to God, I am always telling him about the problem. God spoke to me and said, "for everything I want you to do, you have enough to do it today, so remain there doing the one that you have enough to do today". So I now discovered that I was looking at the wrong way at that time. For every given time, you have what you need to do God's will.

 In the place of prayer, God increases our capacity to meet His demand. Keep time with God, it pays.
