The EPISKIAZO POWER OF GOD

Episkiazo mean to cast a shade upon, that is to envelope in a haze of brilliancy. The word Episkiazo is just a Greek word, which means to overshadow in English. But the effect of it and the entity causing epikiazo will determine it's potency. So from 3 verses of scriptures we would see how the word Episkiazo is used.

SCRIPTURE NUMBER 1

St. Matthew 17:4-6
Then Peter said to Jesus, “Lord, it is good for us to be here; if you wish, I will make three dwellings here, one for you, one for Moses, and one for Elijah.”
While he was still speaking, suddenly a bright cloud overshadowed them, and from the cloud a voice said, “This is my Son, the Beloved; with him I am well pleased; listen to him!” When the disciples heard this, they fell to the ground and were overcome by fear. 

The word Episkiazo will continue to be just an ordinary Greek word if there is no experience or encounter as you would have it, also an end to which why the encounter came.  A transformation must occur after every experience that's how you know what you touch was the Episkiazo dimensions of God and not just the Greek word
Don't be carried away by Greek words because they are sweet to the mouth, sit down with scriptures and let God breath on the letters, thats when it becomes spirit and that's only when it has the ability to give Life.
Note
on the mount where Jesus transfigured something happened, the Episkiazo that occurs there brought an experience/encounter which is that A BRIGHT CLOUD COVERED THEM UP
this encounter made them afraid.
Now on the mount
The end to the experience/encounter  they had is that God spoke- they heard the voice of God confirming a question that has long been in their heart.
During Episkiazo there's always a physical manifestation or contact which precedes a supernatural one
The first can be explained but the second can't.

SCRIPTURE NUMBER 2

St. Luke 1:34
Mary said to the angel, “How can this be, since I am a virgin?”
The angel said to her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you; therefore the child to be born will be holy; he will be called Son of God.

The Angel went to Mary to give her the message of the coming of Christ out that she will be the mother of the messiah she asked how can it be possible and the Angel said the power of the most high shall overshadow thee. Which means Mary this is the experience you'll have, but the end of this experience or encounter is  that Mary will become pregnant without meeting a man.
Note: every encounter produces result, many people do cry for an encounter but because the Encounter came with a physical manifestation they trivialized it and lost the supernatural end to it. 

SCRIPTURE NUMBER 3

The Acts 5:15 so that they even carried out the sick into the streets, and laid them on cots and mats, in order that Peter’s shadow might fall on some of them as he came by.
17. A great number of people would also gather from the towns around Jerusalem, bringing the sick and those tormented by unclean spirits, and they were all cured.

They brought out the sick folks when Peter was passing that it shall not cast a shade (epikiazo) on them. The epikiazo experience there was just a *Peter's shadow falling over the people* and to what end *that those sick folks might be healed*
If I walk pass you and My Shadow was casted over you English calls it overshadow but Greek calls it epikiazo, the inability of my shadow to produce result means that God is not there.
So it is right to say
The Epikiazo power of God because it is a manifestation of power. It is only that one that can produce result
So, the epikiazo power of God is able to
1. Cause a man to hear God clearly
2. It can cause a man to be filled with unusual dimension of God's power
3. It can cause miracles to happen
When a man experiences the epikiazo power of God, there is always a violation of the laws of the earth realm.
You can experience the epikiazo power and the fire of God on your life increases. There are things God has told you he wants to to use you for you have not responded like Mary said
"Let it be unto Me according to the word"
Is there a drunk in your area that the Lord asked you to tell the gospel to, he he promised to empower you and you refused, you have just ignored the epikiazo.
Cry out to the God of heaven and say lord, let your power overshadow me, I want to experience the Episkiazo power. 🔥🔥🔥🔥
There is an interaction you should have with the Episkiazo power before even your own shadow begin to heal the sick, that's what happened in the case of Peter, God casted a shadow on him, James and John and the lord spoke. This is  my beloved son, he held on to that word after that experience, it made him have  which in turns made him heal people even with his own shadow.
Sir!! The dimension you release to people is the dimension God has released into you.
Stay with God, he is willing to release the Episkiazo power.
